Exclusions
What’s not covered?
Our warranty covers qualifying hardware faults. It does not cover the following:
Operating systems and software
Software faults, operating-system issues, viruses, malware, corrupted files and problems caused by user-installed software are not covered.
Overclocking and unauthorised modifications
Damage caused by overclocking, unauthorised repairs, third-party modifications, component changes or removal or alteration of serial numbers is not covered.
Misuse, neglect and accidental damage
Physical damage, liquid damage, impact damage, improper storage, poor ventilation, excessive dust, power surges and other accidental damage are not covered.
Data loss and recovery
Customers are responsible for maintaining current backups. Cymru Computers cannot accept responsibility for lost, damaged or corrupted data during diagnosis, repair or replacement.
Consumables and cosmetic wear
Normal wear and tear, cosmetic marks, batteries, thermal paste, filters and other consumable items are not covered unless they were faulty when supplied.
